How long will it take before I receive my registration in the mail?
Generally, you should receive it by mail in 7 to 10 business days.

Can I use my vessel/vehicle while Im waiting for my registration certificate and decals to arrive?
Yes, just print a temporary permit at the end of your on-line transaction and carry it with you.  In lieu of your certificate and decal, you must have a temporary permit to operate your vessel/vehicle.

Can I register more than one vessel or vehicle in the same transaction?
Yes, you can register as many vessels and/or vehicles as you wish; you can also combine types i.e. one jet ski and 2 ATVs, etc.

I have moved since the last time I registered.  Can I change the address on my registration?
Yes, after you choose the record that you want to renew, you will be given the opportunity to change the address on the record.

I recently changed my legal name.  Can I change this information on my registration?
No.  In order to change your name on your registration, we must have a new application with your new name and signature.  Click on the link below to print out an application form.

I dont have my renewal card so I cant find my PIN number.  What can I do?

I havent registered my vessel/vehicle in a couple of years.  Can I still use this renewal system?
Yes.  If you have registered any time since 1994, your record should still be in the system.  There is a link at the bottom of the Step 1 page that you can click on for another selection option if you dont have your PIN number for the current year.

I am using the information from an old renewal card, and my registration is not coming up.  What should I do?
The PIN number is reassigned each year, so a number from a previous year will not be valid.  There is a link at the bottom of the Step 1 page that you can go to for another selection option.

There is more than one owner of my vessel/vehicle, but only one name comes up.  What's wrong?
The registration has a primary owner and secondary owner(s).  Only the primary owner shows up on the renewal screen, but the secondary owner is in our system.  If you need to verify that all owners are listed in the system, please call the Registration Unit at (303)791-1920.

When will this registration expire?
  • Vessel Registration expires on December 31 of the current year.
  • Snowmobile Registration expires the following September 30.
  • OHV Registration expires the following March 31.
The registration fee is a flat transaction fee, so no matter when the registration is renewed, the fee remains the same.

I ordered a parks pass.  How do I receive the pass?
Your pass will be mailed to you along with your registration. If you plan to visit a state park within the next few weeks, you should purchase your pass at the park entrance due to processing and mailing time required by the system. You will not be able to print out confirmation of purchase of a pass through this system; this is offered for your convenience only.

Can I get any other type of parks pass besides the Annual pass (i.e. multiple, Aspen Leaf, etc.) through this system?
No.  Due to the proof of ownership/age requirements for these discounted passes, these must be purchased in person.  You may purchase these at any state park or state park office.
